DR. AND STAFF BIOGRAPHIES

Dr. Albert B. Clark

Dr. Clark is the head hauncho. El capitano. Cheif. Boss. Leader of the pack. (He hasn't written a bio for himself, so here is his dental assistants' version:) Dr. Clark is the most humble and hard working person we have ever met.  He puts his own wants last, and is only concerned with helping others.  We have all been touched by knowing him and hope that many more people will also be blessed to know him.

Dr. Quinn J. Schiffman

"I feel very fortunate and blessed to be able to work in this profession." Dr. Schiffman is originally from Bountiful Utah and graduated from Viewmont High School. He then served an LDS Mission to Hungary, which "was a wonderful experience."  Upon returning, He enrolled at BYU and completed a B.S. in Microbiology with minors in Chemistry, Zoology, and Business Management. He received his dental training at Ohio State University and graduated in 2004. He began practicing here in Provo soon after graduation. His wife Lisa is from Ucon Idaho near Idaho Falls. They enjoy being outdoors and with family and currently live in Provo.

Vickie Bridget

Vickie as been working in this office even before Dr. Clark took over from Dr. Ord.  Many of you know Vickie at the front office, but what many of you don't know is that she has done it all.  She started as a chairside assisting working with the doctor, and through her years of experience knows how to do it all, scheduling patients, handling insurance, etc. She enjoys spending time with her family and is lovingly known as "Elmer".

Tami Tomlinson

Tami grew up in Lindon and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School.  She attended dental assisting school at Provo College eleven years ago and has worked in our office since.  She is the talented assistant responsible for our seasonal decor, which continues to delight our patients. Tami is kind and gentle to children of all ages.  When she's not at work, Tami enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and taking care of all her plants!

Kristy Huish

Kristy is Dr. Clark's daughter and has worked in the office for twelve years, six of which as a hygienist.  She graduated as valedictorian from UVSC in 2000.  She spends most of her time wrestling her two children, so she is only in part time.  Consider yourself lucky if you come when she is in!  Before she lost her identity to her children, Kristy enjoyed lifting weights, rollerblading, rock climbing, and hiking.

Lauren Hanamaikai

Lauren has worked with us for almost three years. She graduated at the top of her class from the American Institute of Medical-Dental Technology in 2004 with a Certificate in Dental Assisting. Lauren is from Seattle and loves the rain. She and her husband John are students at Brigham Young University and they enjoy sports and food, and Lauren particularly enjoys musical theatre.

Anne Means

Anne (pronounces Anna) is one of our Dental Hygienists.  She is a very hard-working single mother and an intelligent, passionate individual.  If any of you have had Anne clean your teeth, you know she is not a shy person. We love having her as a part of our team.

Aubry Burr

Aubry is a native Georgia Peach. She moved to Utah in 1999 and graduated from Copper Hills High School in West Jordan. She graduated top of her class from the American Institute of Medical-Dental Technology and loves working with us in Provo. Aubry is also a part-time student at Utah Valley State College studying Nutrition. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, snowshoeing and camping.

Kelsey Merritt

Kelsey Merritt has been a dental assistant for about one year. For her education she also attended the American Institute of Medical-Dental Technology. She was recently married in the Cardston, Alberta temple. She loves married life, and enjoys fishing, snowboarding, and spending time with her husband.

Barbara Tate

Barbara is the newest member of our team. She recently completed her Dental Assistant training at the Mountainland School. She is loving and sincere, the kind of person you want holding your hand if you are nervous about dental treatment. Barbara also has five children, with her youngest two being twins. Therefore, she is no stranger to stress management and loves working in the dental field.
